Finding Your Products

Select the type of product from the menus on the left. Next, if required select the model range you are interested in to view a list of the models in that range. Click on ‘more info’ to view the full details with large image of the model. If you know the model number you can find the model quickly by using our ‘Quick Search’ facility which is located at the top of every page.

Making a purchase

Once you have found your required products enter the quantity you’d like to order in the box to the right, then click ‘Add Selection to Cart’ to add them to your shopping cart. You can then continue shopping or click ‘Check Out Now’ to place your order. You will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

Payment Methods

Currently you can place your order online using any major Credit Card, or via Cheque, Electronic Money Transfer, Bankers Draught. In addition to the above, if you so wish, Cash On Collection. Whichever method you choose, your purchase MUST be paid for in full, BEFORE dispatch. Any specially ordered item will need a 25% deposit paid before we order it, the balance must be paid BEFORE dispatch You are also able to make your payment Online with most of the popular Credit/ Debit cards, or offline with Credit/Debit Card, Cheque and Money Transfer with Order system.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Any models that may be out of stock at the time of order can be delivered usually within 2-3 weeks from date of order!

Credit Card Security

All credit card numbers will be encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.


We will endeavour to ship in stock products the same day if ordered before 12 noon, or the following working day. Should an item be out of stock, you will be contacted within 3 (three) working days and given the option to wait for the item, choose an alternative or cancel for a full refund.

West Marine Services Ltd currently use Parcel Force, City Link and Fed Ex for deliveries.

Orders will be shipped to the payment card billing address on the online order form, and the goods will need to be signed for on receipt. If you need the goods to be delivered to an alternative delivery address, we will require a landline daytime contact telephone number.

On receipt of your delivery, please check that the packaging is not damaged and sign for goods as “unchecked”. Please ensure that someone will be in to receive the goods – Parcel Force will attempt to deliver the goods twice, and other couriers only once. The courier will leave a card to advise that delivery has been attempted. Goods not delivered will remain at the local depot for 10 days, and if they are not collected, will be returned back to us. We reserve the right to charge for any redelivery that has to be arranged.

Delivery Charge

UK mainland: Delivery charges are included in the offered price as long as the delivery address is within the UK mainland.

EU customers: including those from the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, carry a £48.00 Shipping Fee.

Rest of the World: All delivers outside of the above mentioned destinations will carry a £78.00 Shipping Fee.

Delivery times cannot be fixed, and will be anytime between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday. A ‘Saturday AM’ delivery can be arranged at extra cost but this is not a guaranteed service.

International Delivery

If you are outside of Mainland UK, the Checkout system will show the Delivery Charge for your order.

West Marine Services Ltd is not responsible for taxes and/or duties that may be applicable when delivering to countries outside the EU.

Transit Damage and Missing Items

Most orders are shipped by courier and are insured by West Marine Services Ltd against loss or damage until signed for and accepted by the customer. It is the Customers responsibility to inspect the delivery for any external damage before accepting it. Should the delivery box(es) look badly damaged, please refuse to accept the goods.

Once the goods have been accepted by the customer, please open them and check the contents for missing or damaged items. Any problem must be reported to The West Marine Services Ltd by email or telephone within 24 hours of receiving the goods.


West Marine Services Ltd retains the right to reject any offer to purchase, made either by online order, telephone, email or any other method. Order acceptance and completion of the contract will only take place on the dispatch of any goods ordered by the customer.

West Marine Services Ltd reserves the right to reject the offer of purchase and cancel the order for any of the following reasons:

We are unable to obtain satisfactory payment authorisation

We are unable to deliver to a specific location or country

We are unable to confirm or verify your address information

The item you have ordered is out of stock

There is an error in the product, image, description or pricing, whether it is online, email, verbal or printed.

Cancelling Orders

You may cancel an order or item before the goods have been fully or partially dispatched. A full refund will be issued within 7 days. Should the item be a special order, you will be subject to a cancellation charge and receive a partial refund.

Nothing within these terms affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) or Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.


West Marine Services Ltd cannot or does not in any form, guarantee the suitability of goods for a specific purpose. It will be the customers’ responsibility to ensure that they check specifications, sizes and any compatibility requirements before purchasing the product.

Software that has been opened cannot be accepted for return unless the product is proved defective under the manufacturer terms and conditions.

West Marine Services Ltd does not sell any goods on a trial basis.


Unless stated otherwise, all products are covered by the manufacturers 12 month (unless specified otherwise) “return to base” Warranty. This means that the customer will be responsible to return the item toWest Marine Services Ltd and we will return the repaired or replacement item back to you.

Exceptions to the warranty will be “consumables” which have a 90 day warranty or any damage to the item through accident or improper use.

Returning unwanted or incorrect ordered items

If within 14 days of receipt of the goods you wish to return them, please contact us in writing by email, fax or letter that you wish to return an item. We will then contact you with a returns authorisation number.

The customer will be responsible to ensure the safe return of the goods but we advise that you retain any proof of posting for the return. Alternatively West Marine Services Ltd can arrange to have the goods collected but the customer is responsible for the direct cost of collection by West Marine Services Ltd. The cost will be £10 for a single package up to 30Kg. You must ensure that reasonable care has been taken of the goods and must return it with all original packaging all accessories and manuals in their original condition.

We will refund the purchase price of the item in full within 30 days of the goods being received and checked by West Marine Services Ltd. Delivery charges are not refundable.

The customer is not entitled to a full refund of the product purchase price if they have not taken reasonable care of the goods prior to cancellation of the contract. Reasonable care includes returning the goods with all accessories, cables or manuals nor should the goods, internal or external packaging be damaged in any way.

Nothing within these terms affect your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) or Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Returning Faulty Items

West Marine Services Ltd must be informed of the fault in writing by email, fax or letter before returning the goods. Once we have received your notification, we will contact you with a returns authorisation number.

If you have had the goods less than 60 days we will arrange to collect the goods, the customer must ensure that the goods are suitably packed for shipping as The West Marine Services Ltd cannot be held responsible for any damage that occurs in transit due to inadequate packaging.

Once we have received the goods they will be repaired or replaced and returned to you. Should we or the manufacturer be unable to repair the item within 30 days of receipt we will offer the customer a choice of a refund or an alternative product equivalent.

Should an item become faulty after the 60 day period, West Marine Services Ltd can arrange collection at cost to the customer which is £26 for any single item up to 15Kg in weight. On confirmation that the item is faulty we will refund this money for you.

The customer can choose their own method of returning goods to us but please make sure that the goods are suitably insured for shipping.

Limitations of Liability

West Marine Services Ltd will not be liable to you for any damages in circumstances where:

There is no breach of any legal duty owed to you by us, our employees or agents.

Any such loss or damage is not a reasonably foreseeable result of any breach.

Any increase in loss or damage which has resulted in breach by the customer of any term of this contract.
